Kiley Nepia has over 20 years experience in whānaua ora, reo and cultural revitalization, Mens wellbeing, Rangatahi development and Maori education.
His past roles include the manager or Omaka Marae where he lead the strategic vision Pa ora, Pa wananga, developing the marae into a centre of cultural excellence, one of the kaupapa matua he lead at the marae was the establishment of the regions only kura Maori Te Pa Wananga o Omaka Marae.
Kiley was also the Pouahurea for Te Tauihu iwi Ngati Apa ki te Ra To and lead the reo strategy for the iwi.
Over the past 8 years Kiley and his whanau have developed a modern day whare wānanga called Hawaiki Kura. At its core Hawaiki Kura is a space where whānau can reindignise and heal themselves through ngā taonga tuku iho.
Kiley is presenting with his daughters Te Ao Marama and Mareikura who are both pou (tutors) within Hawaiki Kura.
