Kahu Whakatere empowers the use of sustainable practices when managing tūpāpaku, revitalises the weaving of whāriki, Te Reo Māori me ōna tikanga, karanga, karakia, whaikorero, waiata, and strengthens and promotes wairuatanga embedded in matauranga Māori for future generations.
